Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum

Nirvana, Quincy Jones, Neil Diamond, Blondie, Miles Davis, Red Hot Chili Peppers and countless more memorable artists have been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, located in downtown Cleveland. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation was originally established in 1983 by Atlantic Records founder and chairman, Ahmet Ertegun; however, a physical location for the "Hall" wasn't opened until 1995. In fact, Cleveland city leaders and local residents lead a campaign to have "The Forest City" selected over Memphis, New York, Detroit or Cincinnati.
